Salary-to-Salary
The short version: Salary-to-Salary is a local-first app. Your financial data — bills, income, balance — never leaves your device. We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not link to your bank.
All financial information you enter is stored locally on your phone using an encrypted on-device database. This includes:
None of this information is transmitted to our servers or any third party. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of it.
We use Firebase Analytics (by Google) to understand how the app is used. This helps us improve the experience.

You can use the app entirely without creating an account. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your:
This information is used only to identify your session and display your name in the app. It is not shared with any third party and is not used for marketing.
Google Sign-In is powered by Firebase Authentication. See Firebase's privacy information for details on how Google handles authentication data.
If you grant notification permission, the app schedules local reminders for upcoming bill due dates. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no data is sent to our servers to trigger them. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Salary-to-Salary is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will remove it.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you signed in with Google and would like your account and associated data deleted, email us at:
Include "Account deletion request" in the subject line. We will process your request within 30 days.
If you did not sign in, there is no account to delete — uninstalling the app removes all data from your device permanently.
